I recently swapped my engine bay wiring harness and under dash wiring harness, and some issues have came up. The engine bay harness is from a 90 model firebird this, and the dash wiring is from a Camaro... unsure about the year.

Symptoms : when I hit 60 MPH and hit on the brakes slightly the engine light turns on. It never did that before I swapped wiring. And when I connect the Soluspro diagnostic computer it can not communicate with the ecm whatsoever. It use to do that as well.

What could I have forgotten to connect in order to check the codes? Something behind the dash not connected?

 

Also forgot to mention that my wipers don't work now. Fuse is good, will cycle throught low and high, with no movement from wiper motor...then when I hit the windshield washer fluid it blows the fuse. What gives?

 

Sounds like the haness you have isnt compatible with the dash harness. What year is the dash harness as I know 90 to 92 engine harnesses are different from other years and the C100 pinout is different
