tcc wiring

Hi guys. I am about to drop in a carbed 383 in my 89 firebird and have removed the elm and its wiring in the engine bay. I am wanting to hook up a toggle switch for the FCC lockup on my 700r4. If I understand correctly I just leave the blue wire, leave the purple wire since it still goes to the break switch and then just ground the tan one through a switch?
