Ignition Problems
First I found out my camaro doesn't shut off when I turn it off and that it only starts and the car will not power down to the off position. Then,I put in a new switch in the middle of the column that the rod connects to and slides to it to turn the car to acc, off, and start. Later I adjusted it and it worked for awhile. Later it started to do the same thing. The ignition switch seems to not do the full cycle of the rod. It goes to the on and start position, but it seems it has a hard time pushing forward to slide the switch and shut the car off. When i adjust the switch it either has the ability to turn on the instrument panel and not able to crank the car over or it turns on but it doesn't shut the car off. I was thinking either it was the ignition switch or something out of wack.
