Swapping wiring harness?

I have a 88 firebird that had a v6 fuel injection I'm going To a old school Chevy big block can I use a 82 83 engine wire harness and bolt it to my main and it'd work I dont wanna have a wire nest

Best thing to do in scenario is build your own engine harness from scratch and tie it into the existing chassis circuits, since I assume "old school Chevy big block" means carbeurated and no computer.
