Power Door Locks

The Power Door Locks on my 89 Firebird are not working. When you push the lock button, it sounds as if the motor tries to move the locks, but nothing else happens.

Any ideas please?

The problem is common. More often than not a thorough cleaning and relubing with white grease will do the trick (do the window channels at the same time and you may find that they function more quickly). A search will no doubt turn up more info.
