Remove cap from headlight motor?

Is it possible to remove the cap that is on the headlight motor? This is the round cap that you turn to manually raise/lower the headlights in the firebird. I have a damaged one I want to replace, and not sure how to get this thing off. It doesnt seem like it unscrews, and I have tried slipping a flathead underneath and prying it off with no success. Any ideas?

Thats weird. I pulled both of mine off before with my hand. One was even a different motor than the other. Not sure if thats supposed to happen, but it did lol.
