changed my plugs but forgot what wires went to each plug. help me please. its a 1987 gta 5.7

Ok how do I identify the wire number and on the motor what would be plug number 1

 

Bump the engine so the timing mark is at 0. (you can breaker bar turn the balancer bolt clockwise or grab the flywheel underneath to do it.)

The rotor is then at 1 or 6.

If it's pointing toward the drivers side front corner, assume it's 1. Clockwise from there in order like tuned perf. posted.

DS bank is 1357
PS bank is 2468

 

Plug number one is the left front . make sure you are on the compression stroke of the cylinder. The rotor will be pointing at number one under the cap. Put wires in firing order clockwise 18436572.
