Hello I am installing my new MSD 6al in my 84 camaro. I want to mount the MSD ignition box up in the front of the engine bay(drivers side batt box) but the wiring is too short. I have read that I can lengthen the power and ground as long as I upgrade in wire size. My question is can I lengthen the rest of the wires as well? And if I can please add any suggestions.

You should be fine to extend them. I know a lot of people who have done it, just up the wire one size to be safe.

On a side not what does "onthedownlow" mean where you are from, because I am guessing it is a very different thing here.

Thanks for your reply. I'm from up in Canada. Onthedownlow up here simply means I do things on the quiet, or low profile, below the radar. For example if I were to buy a stolen tv from a guy I would say to him "keep it on the down low" another words I wasn't here. I googled it and can see what you must have thought. No problem I saw the name and I felt the need to ask

Good luck with the MSD and make sure you have at least 10 gauge for the batter + and - wires.

Also I just installed mine, I used a MSD distributor but if you have questions let me know.
