Small in-dash light bulb. What is it?
Hey guys-
After a pretty thorough internet and thirdgen.org search with no results, I come bearing a question.
I was tearing apart my '86 Trans Am's dash, plastic panels flying everywhere, to change out my bad oil/temp gauge, when I found a small light in a plastic casing with about 6" of pigtail coming out of it. I traced it to a connector and got it out. Unfortunately, thinking the top of the plastic casing was removable, I broke it off. I can get to the bulb now but it seems to be wired/soldered in. It was never on during my ownership of the car so I guess it burned out. Anyone know the part number for this? 10036871 was written on it but turned up no results, even at a local dealer. Anyone changed/encountered this? Here's a pic of it for reference:
