Ignition hot wire diagram
Does anyone have a wire diagram of wire that are hot only when the key is in the on position? I rewired my horn from the steering wheel to a light up toggle switch, but don't want the light draining my battery (it's wrapped around the positive terminal on the battery right now so I have to plug and unplug it.)

If you look in your fuse box, there are a few "Blanks" to add accessories.
A few are labeled "BAT" and a few are labeled "IGN". IGN is only hot when you have the key on.
You can add accessories just by crimping a flat blade termination to the wire, and plug it in. I've got my subwoofer's remote wire running to there.
Anyway, here's a link to the best place I've found full wiring diagrams:

If it’s an incandescent, you can tap into the 12 AWG pink wire coming out of the steering column.
Put a 10 amp fuse in line for the horn circuit as close as possible to the column.

If you’re using an illuminated switch VIA LED, it won’t drain the battery until the Sun burns out.

If you want them to shut off when you turn the car off you can tap into the pink wire at the coil.
I don’t know how many LEDs you’re going to use, so use a relay.
Have the pink wire activate the relay, and feed battery power thru the relay for the LED’s.
Also remember to use fuses.

I'm going to wire them up to that red switch, I'm getting a new switch for the horn. It's an LED strip that's 40 inches long(not sure how many LEDS), and I'd like to be able to turn it on when the car is off.

Not sure what you mean by the ‘red switch’ but if you figured it out cool.
If not you can use a toggle switch, to activate the relay mentioned in post #7.

This is the red switch I was referring to. I haven't had time to mess with it recently since I'm swapping an engine. I did find out that my car has everything for cruise control except the stick on the steering column though.
