help with custom tail light wiring
ok so im makin it so my z28s tail lights are all red no amber, just the clear for reverse, now im not so good with wiring but i can do it if i have a step by step
heres what i wana do, i wana make it so that the turn and brake bulbs flash the same not independently, so lik when u hit the both light up and turn ect ect, now idk if its possible but could i somehow make them sequential? has anyone done this or know how to just make them both light up the same way, thanks anyone
now im not sure but if im thinking right id need to change the socket for the turn sig so the buld has 2 filiments, but how would i wire it so it works with the brakes too????

I will find the link that tells how to do this showing all the wiring etc. Just need a few minutes.

at the bottom he gives a link to instructions for the wiring under the column and at the taillights. You do everything as noted for the sequential except actually running wiring to and from a sequential unit. If any more questions ask here again or PM BigBadLou.

thanks alot, im gona try it on my sport coupe first, because im doin the tail lights all read on it first, idk if im gona do sequential yet or not

1 question, i notice those are TAs, dont camaros only have 2 bulbs not 3? isnt it just one for brake one for turn then a lil tiny marker light in the corners?

Yes that is what the Camaro's have. You can hook it up as two lights just fine. For the sequential lights people are normally putting a different bulb and socket in the side corners. Nobody has necessarily found a real small bulb socket combo for there yet. Some are using the reverse lights for the third light.

91phoenix gave you the right link to the STS page with instructions and those contain the trick how to combine brake lights and turn signals on Camaros (and base Firebirds).
If you want to sequence the red lights, let me know, I have plenty of STS units premade now.

i wasnt planning on usin the reverse lights i wanted to keep them clear, but im not sure yet, and yea i might be interested in the STS unit, but i think for now im gona do it so the brake and turns work together
