Is there a way to wire around the vats module to defeat it? I have read about cutting the yellow wires coming out of the steering column and wiring in a resistor on the module side to match the key resistance. I don't think either key I have is original, so don't really know if the chip resistance is correct. Or is there something else that may be causing this condition? Somebody please help!
