Axle/Gears: 3.70
v6 oil gauge and sender on a sbc...

As long as both are for a v6, the gauge should read correctly, right? psi or whatever aRE still psi?

Yes.

Also, the sender and gauge work the same on a V6 or V8.

thank you . i have actually found surprising little direct info? just to be clear, the v6 gauge goes to 80, i believe, whereas the v8 is 60. as i think about it, i have had each sender installed and the pointer typically consistently pointed to 12, regardless of which sender.

Hope i didnt overthink it...

if what it think is true, is true, then i will never "rely" on a accurate reading. how accurate does it really need to be, i guess...
