Factory shift light with an automatic?
For some reason, I'm pretty stubborn about keeping my car as stock-appearing as possible, and so far I have only two utter failures in that area. From about 10ft away, you can see my dual exhaust and dumps under the axle, and the quarter stick shifter sits prominently in the center console...
Lately, I've been wrestling with my stock tach, and not only is it innaccurate, but its inconsistent, so I have been trying to find a stock looking approach to knowing when to shift. Then I found out that my new ECM has separate shift light and TCC outputs! I should be able to use my in-dash stock shift light to find accurate shift points
So I ordered one of these:
Looks to me like the brightest front-firing LED that superbrightleds.com stocks. I don't see the need for a 360* LED without having a reflector inside the dash, and I don't quite wanna go that far.
Hopefully this thing will be almost as blinding as an AutoMeter shift light!
