Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.73
The motor wont draw my hatch down.
I took everything apart, replaced the solenoid and cant figure out the problem. Anyone know about these things or what might be the problem?

Hatch Latch
If the unit raises but wont pull down take a look at the two switches in the unit.
One is moved when the hook presses on it.
The other one is a small round one with a spring near it with a tab.
It rotates as the motor operates.
Make sure both function.
The small round one can fall out.

If My Engine Has An Illegal Part, And The Inspector Doesnt Hear It, Does It Make A Sound?

Thanks Lon that was a helpful link. I found out I have a cracked motor housing (my friend slammed my trunk because they didn't know it was automatic). It doesnt make sense that the piece that takes the most stress is made of plastic. If I can find a reinforced TDS motor housing I'd like to buy one.
