15 amp aftermarket headlight switch okay to use?

So, I redid 100% of the wiring in my '88. The stock headlight switch basically had it's own 10gauge wire from the battery and then 14gauge (I think) wires heading to each of the things the headlight switch powered, each making pitstops along the way at the fusebox like this...

Code:
                       /---{fuse}---(headlights)
                      /
[[battery]]===[switch]---{fuse}---(park lights)
                      \
                       \---{fuse}---(dash lights)

I have 2 questions:

1. Mine now has the same setup except I have a 25 amp fuse on the 10gauge from the battery and no fuses after the headlight switch like this...

Code:
                              /---(headlights)
                             /
[[battery]]==={fuse}=[switch]---(park lights)
                             \
                              \---(dash lights)
Is this a problem at all? Will it be fine or MUST I have the fuses on each of the out-going lines?

2. All the aftermarket light switches I'm finding are all 15 amp. One area I'm grey on is determining proper fuse\amperage size. I assumed the switch would need 25 or 30 amps because it has it's own dedicated 10gauge from the battery.

When ever we replace the headlight switch on thirdgen's people have been installing relays so the headlight voltage doesn't have to go through the switch.
