I have a 1982 Pontiac Trans am and my passenger's side headlight cover has a problem. When I open the lights both covers open with no problems but when I close them, the one that is at the passenger's side always stays open and I have to close it manually. Do you know what the problem can be?

The problem is the relay. There are individual relays for each headlight as well as a master relay for both.

Something I forgot to mention is that some times this head light cover will close without a problem, for examble if I try to close the lights ten times, one time will work as normal...

 

try checking the connections to each relay
