Door Ajar lights, electric fan, and porta-heater stopped working

Okay this might be complicated but ill do my best to explain it. My electric fan is wired straight to the battery, and controlled from a toggle switch, which draws some power from the door ajar lights. after the battery the wires run to a relay. My heater core broke, and rather than taking the time to fix it, I bypassed it, and bought a small portable 12v heater/defroster that mounts to my dash. When I bought it i was told that it would simply plug into my cigarette lighter and that would be fine. I plugged it in, it ran for awhile, then all of a sudden my fan, door ajar lights, and the heater itself stopped working. i read in the owners manual afterwards, that it should not be plugged into the cig lighter. Im not sure what the problem is, and i cant seem to figure out which fuse the cig lighter is connected to. Any help would be appreciated!!!!

The CTSY fuse is the blue 15A just to the right of the breakers in the fuse panel...

Fans, lights, heaters - way too much running off that one little fuse! Likely blown, and will keep blowing till you wire it all properly. For instance, why is the fan wired like that?

Can I just install a higher amperage of fuse? And also, the heater will no longer be running from the cig lighter. AND ON THAT NOTE.. is there any 12v power sources i can plug into??

You could, but as the factory liked to keep things cheap - the wiring attached to that fuse is probably accordingly tiny gauge. You may risk overheating that by increasing the fuse rating - something like a heater is going to want a lot of current, I would imagine.

There should be a couple of spare sockets on the fuse panel, one full time hot and one switched iirc. Or run a new fuse hot line to the batt.

I note that rather than fix the heater properly, you'd rather just hack at the wiring. Not a critcism, just a gentle dig

The car is just a 700 dollar beater lol. I really dont care about it. Its only got a 305 TPI with the 2.73 rear end so its a complete dog unless about 3000 rpms. Ive got a 91 sonoma pick up with a built 350 in it, so most of my time is dedicated to that haha

Also the heater I bought has a plug in that fits a socket like the cigarette lighter. I might buy one that has ring terminals that go directly onto the battery
