82-84 firebirds tails into a 91?
I really want to out the 82-84 firebird tails and center into my 91 firebird. Just wondering if wiring will be a issue? Thanks and happy thanksgiving

You will need to make one small wiring modification (just one wire) under the steering column.

Since the 82 lights have 3 red bulbs on each side, It would be a good idea to put a sequential turn signal unit on the car, that's the best time to do it.

Hey thanks! with the light blue wire are we just hooking it in with the white wire like splicing it in or will i have to cut the white wire?

You can splice it into the white wire or you can cut the white wire and connect the light blue wire into the white half that goes into the steering column.
Fair warning, your turn signal flasher will be flashing much faster after you swap the older tail lights in. You are doubling the current draw (load) on the flasher and since our cars use load-driven flashers, the speed will be affected, possibly by increasing to double as well.

Hey my friend has a tail light harness out of a 83 trans am he can get for me. If i went that route could i just plug that into mine and save on cutting wires? Thanks

I am not sure whether the tail light harness has the same connector between the 1982 and 1991. Especially since the 1982 might be using a bigger connector for the fuel pump and sensor wires. I would double check that.
But yes, if you can use it, that would save you some trouble with rewiring the bulbs.
