Seems to be a lot of need for diagrams. I looked all over the site but couldn't find anywhere to view/download them. (Maybe I missed it)

Thanks for the link. I do have a chiltons but I already found out the vin number section is wrong. The wiring diagram for 86 TPI seems to match , but printing these off is readable. The chiltons is so small I can't really read it even with a magnafying glass. I can't afford a GM shop manual right now. I'm trying to fix someones rigging on an 85 iroc z28. So far I removed a few jumpers , bypasses and hot wires. I'm trying to find out why the starter needs hot wired to start it. nuetral safety switch? It also had a music lover as an owner that messed around in the fuse block and has amp wires ran and a constant hot sterio installed. Not a bad car , but this wiring is very hard to get to and is very discouraging. I got most of an underhood harness from a junk yard and replaced the cooling fan relay, which had been by-passed. Don't know why but the old plug was mangled. I don't really know what year harness I bought , but it has many good relays and plugs. Also some colors don't match exactly , like brown is actually a brown/white.
