Defrost Grid, not all working

This has probably already been covered but I couldn't find any information in the search.

What causes this? Is there any way to fix it?

Thanks

Re: Defrost Grid, not all working

I know you can buy a metal marker style pen to reconnect the lines so the defroster will work again. I think you can get them at any auto parts place.

Re: Defrost Grid, not all working

Turn the demister on while the car is in complete darkness. With any luck, you should be able to see the breaks sparking, making it much easier to use the aforementioned pen.

Not sure about the pen, but there is also a liquid grid repair.
