Looking for an isolation relay, Part # 10022620. They don't make it anymore and dealerships and junk places don't seem to have it. What's my best bet finding the part online?

Im in the same boat have an 84 ta with iso relay bad. Ive looked everywhere for it and dealer says they make a new one to replace it but it doesnt work so dont waste your cash. Im trying to figure it out using two 5 pin relays to make it work somehow. If you find where they sell them let me know and ill do the same.

 

I can't find the actuator relays for sale anywhere.
I had one spare and put it in one headlight and the other one just died.
I was tempted to try and wire both motors to the one relay but assumed it'd probably fry it.

After studying an isolation and an actuator relay side by side I see no way by adding a diode that you can convert the relay function.

 

I got relays at my local auto value store last summer, they had them right on the shelf.

edit-I see you are in Australia, that would make it tougher If you can't locate some anywhere I would be willing to send you one from here.

 

My wife had her isolation relay burn out on her 1986 Firebird. After months of research I put two years of electronics school to work and built a replacement. Watch it in action on .

Working up the plans now that include a test plan and will post them in another thread soon.
