Engine: 350 - carb
Transmission: Auto
Axle/Gears: Stock
Gas gauge pegged to full

My gas gauge stopped working and is pegged out to full. Any ideas?

My '91 Firebird did this right before the fuel pump went out. It appeared that the strainer had separated from the pump and lodged against the sender unit. There are other explanations that you may find in the search, but this was my experience.
