I need some Tacho information please?
Hi all,
Could someone please give me some tech info on the tacho output pulses on the following engines.Also does the year of the car change things?
Info needed on 82-92 transam & firebirds.
V4 carb
V4 injected
V6 carb
V6 injected
V8 carb
V8 injected

There's no dedicated tach signal, exactly. In all years the tach is just connected to the coil primary.
