89 IROC cranks but no start

Well this is another attempt to find some help here in this forum. I finally got my car to crank but it wont start. my SES light turns on but only if i hot wire the fuel pump relay to the battery. i dont have spark though. my cap, rotor, wires, coil and battery are all new also. im thinkin it could be a ground somewhere but im not sure where to look. my grounds behind my heads are connected. ANY IDEAS ANYONE??

Just finished rebuilding my engine also

Does you Ign switch work ;
as in, do you have 12V to the coil when Ign switch is in the Run position ?

Run a wire direct from the battery to the coil and see if it fires up.
If it does need to check the ign switch and wire from there to the coil
