Airbag Sensors..
Hey guys, I know the answer is here somewhere, but was unable to find my answer by search. I currently have my whole interior ripped out, and no ECM running the car (Carb) Will there be any problems if I take out the two airbag sensors that are mounted in the passenger compartment? Me gut feeling says no, but I just would like a second opinion.

Re: Airbag Sensors..
Problems? No. But your airbag will stop working.
The airbag system is separate from the ECM and engine so even if you remove the whole ECM and go carb, your airbag will remain operational.
However, if you have a need to remove it, there is also a sensor mounted in front of the radiator.
Disclaimer: I will not be liable for any injuries or fatalities that might result from tampering with the factory airbag life-saving system.
Hope this helps.

Re: Airbag Sensors..
Thanks.. I will not hold you personally responsible for any issues. The car already has the stock steering wheel removed and replaced with a Grant from the PO. I was just looking to remove some "unneeded" components from the cab while I have a chance. I was just wondering if there would be any "kill" switches activated by removing the sensors.
