87 z28-90/92 instrument cluster swap
I know I'm going to have to shave quite a bit off the top corners to get it to fit because the front is completely different and the speedo is electric(which makes no nevermind to me my manual one is working either. Are the pin connectors much different. I really like the newer cluster and am pretty good with wiring I just can't find a diagram anywhere.

Re: 87 z28-90/92 instrument cluster swap
My year isn't on that page but thanks, it's very helpful, but I'll do a little studying before I start messing around with the wiring. Okay, so the wire colors seem to be the same they are just in different places on the two wiring harnesses that connect to the cluster. I tried hooking them up and only a few lights came on and no gauges or tach worked. Now I need the original wiring harnesses for the new cluster.
