hatch motor
Hi I have a 86 iroc and my hatch motor won't stop running until I unplug it. What is wrong with it. It isn't going up or down either. Thanks

Axle/Gears: EATON POSI 4.56
Hatch Latch Catch Batch
The leading cause of that problem is stripped gears or a broken lever on the Latch Closed Switch.
If you hear *click* *click* *click* *click* *click* *click* *click* when the motor is running, that is consistent with stripped gears.
