OK the light green goes to the lights do I can connect that as the load to any toggle switch and connect a fuse ( wiring condom for protection) add power then I should be able to turn them on with the flip of the switch right?

Correct
but why wouldn't you use the original blue wire that was the feed to the switch?
No need for any extra wiring or fuses

Last time I used blue and green a fuse popped.
NY b&m mega shifter had the switches, but they would never line UP right and be on all the time.

Wiring it up another way instead of solving the problem is just the bubba fix
It worked fine from the factory so you now have a problem to sort out why it is blowing fuses
A direct short maybe????

Most likely the PO butchered alot of the installs on this. I'm just trying to get her to work halfway decent.
Being my dd I can't have it down retracing wires.
