trouble with the wireing

I have a 1988 gmc sierra 1500.When I turn the headlights on,my gauges go crazy.Both blinker lights come on and all the gauges drop.Can anyone help me?

Sounds like a bad ground or a issue with the head light switch is pulling to much current. The 88-92 headlight switches had a issue with that and would melt harness connection. You might want to buy a service manual or join the appropriate forum for c/k trucks.
