Chassis harness swap...

Aside from having the starter wiring hacked up from the previous owner, I am finding a ton of other electrical issues with the chassis harness. I have another '91 Firebird with all of the chassis wiring intact and it also has a few extra bonus features (power mirrors and remote hatch release). Is it possible to swap just the chassis harness portion and leave the motor wiring intact? The motor I have in my driver is a TPI 350 and the motor that is in the donor harness car was a 305 TBI and the harness was already chopped for the motor portion.

I just figure it would be easier to swap out harnesses rather than repair what was hacked. Just want to make sure they are 2 seperate harness that can be plugged in.

Thanks,

Ken
