Have no plug under the car for Reverse lights. Where to find backup wires?

As the title states. I have no plug under the car for my backup lights and I'm trying to wire up my new T5. Where can I find the light green and dark blue wires elsewhere? Under the dash maybe? I'm having trouble. Thanks! Adam

Re: Have no plug under the car for Reverse lights. Where to find backup wires?

from the 88 manual:

BACK-UP LIGHTS - The back-up lights are
next to the rear license plate. They will come on when
the transmission is shifted to Reverse. On cars with an
automatic transmission, the back-up lights are
activated by the neutral start switch. On cars with a
manual transmission, they are activated by a separate
back-up light switch on the transmission

is your car originally an auto?

On the connector to the switch at the base of the auto shifter

The P/N switch (NSS ) and the backup light switch are two separate switches built into one unit installed on the shifter
