I got me a 91 firebird and im trying to figured out how I can setup my headlights so that when I turn my daytime headlights on it also flips up my headlights without the headlight actually not turning on. I have halos for the car and thought it would be kool. But with the 3rd gens u can flip up the assembly without having the headlight stay off. U can with the 4th gens by simply turning them on and down to daytime lights.


Ultimately is there any way I can setup my bird so the headlights flip up so just the daytimes are on without my actual headlights being on?? Or would some sort of toggle be easier?

 

flip them up then unplug the motors

 

it would be easier i think to leave the motor circuits alone and run the headlight grounds to a relay that you would control with a toggle switch inside, sort of a disable circuit
