88 Camaro - where does this go?
88 Camaro - where does this go?
So we just finished rewiring the light switches under the dash. Everything works great, but there's still one wire connection under the drivers side near the fusebox that we cannot fir lives of us figure out where it came from. It has 4 wire connections to it, a dark brown, dark purple, gray and black. There was no issues with the car before (other than the lightswitch) but now upon starting the engine, it misfires bad. It's also dumping gas (smoke and smell) and dies occasionally. We're sure the provlem is with this connection, it looks pretty important. On the black clip it reads: DEA (side 1) and PEDDBA. We've heard from some it could be a vaccum leak, but the lines check out. Also there's new oil in it and a new oil filter. My oil pressure gauge hasn't worked since I bought it but someone else mentioned a new oil pump.
Also there's a smaller clip with a white and an orange wire on it that we can't find it's place either.
What do we think?
