Heres a good one for ya'll !!!

I bought a 1986 trans am awhile back. The car was used as a track car, so PO pulled a lot of needed goodies out. Like the wiper blade motor and arms. I ordered a working motor and arms off the net. After hooking up the linkage, it seems like the motor is not letting the arms to go full circle, they move only a few inches. The motor doesn't seem to be the issue. Is there a way to find out if Im doing something wrong with the arms linkage?
It seems straight forward, but not getting a full swing.
Any help is appreciated !!

If the problem occurs when the wiper switch is in the HI position, turn the wiper switch to the OFF position, then open the wiper motor cover.

Disconnect the 2 pin connector going to the motor, and the 1 pin connector going to ground.

Keep the wiper switch in the OFF position for all these measurements.

Insert a voltmeter in line with the 2 pin connector
purple wire and ground.

Turn the ignition key to the ACCY position.

What voltage does the meter indicate?

Now insert the voltmeter in line with the 1 pin connector
gray wire and ground.

What voltage does the meter indicate?

Happy Racing!
