Car: 1984 Camaro Z28
Engine: 305 5.0 H.O., 4bbl
Transmission: Automatic
Axle/Gears: worn and bout to break down
Weird Electronic part

Does anyone know what part this is? I tried running a google search with no luck.

I found it under dash next to the fuse box. Any info would be much appreciated, thanks

I think that's for an aftermarket security system...an old one by the looks of it. What wires were connected to it? Does everything electronic in your car work, like the door locks and cabin lights?

it was conencted to the orange pins and red pins as well as the black cable.

I recently did some work with the ignition switch down there and came across it.

Many thanks for the help guys, I will defenetly have to get this replaced/upgraded after i complete the restoration.
