Starting issues, please help!
Howdy everybody, this is my first time ever posting but I've scanned the thread for months.
I have a 1991 camaro rs with the 305, automatic transmission.
So the problem : put key in ignition and turn, I get all of my accessories, lights, radio, the works. When I go to crank my car over I hear a click but that's it, doesn't even attempt to turn over. It started doing this intermittently but I would let it sit for 10 or 15 mins and try again and it would start right up. Now it won't start at all.
Things I've checked/ replaced in my search for the problem : starter and starter solenoid check out good, battery is brand new, replaced the ignition switch, replaced the ignition cylinder, had the right keys cut for it and everything. All of my fuses are good.
Typical answer would be VATS but would getting a new cylinder from the dealership just fix that possibility? Unless its actually the VATS module. Any way to check the module to the ECM? Don't really want to go cutting wires to the module and try to bypass if it isn't the problem.
Got a baby on the way and wifey said either fix it or sell it, and I'd rather fix it.

Fixing The Baby
At the starter connect a wire to the ‘M’ connection.
Make the wire long enuff to bring into the cockpit.
Connect a bulb to the wire, and ground the other terminal of the bulb.
Now, when you try to start, but it won’t crank, observe if the bulb is lit.
