Where must the pink cable in the fuse box be connected?

Hi folks,

my name is Stefan, 34 years old from Germany! I have a black '92 Firebird V6 since 2005. ( This is my first post)

I've got this little problem: I checked my fuses recently, but while doing so I unintentionally pulled out a pink cable from wherever it was connected. I cannot remember where it was plugged into before. Now my question is: Please, could someone look up where the pink cable in or around the fuse box must be connected? I think appearance of the box changes through the years, so a 1992 Firebird-owner would be best.
I attached a picture to show which one I mean. Upside in the picture is front in the car and the addressed cable is the one, which ends on the left side in front of the foam material.

Many thanks to you!
Stefan

That looks like something aftermarket and not factory.

Do you have any aftermarket add ons like stereo, amps, etc?

I definitely did not change or add anything non-factory to the car. I don't know and cannot imagine that the pre-owners did so and I didn't find anything yet.

Only thing I could imagine is that imported cars to Europe (or at least to Germany) were required to have rear fog lamps, adjustable headlights levelling and bigger-than-stock electrical exterior mirrors. All that superflous stuff, making your car looking absolute awesome...

I asked about aftermarket stuff because this splice is not factory:

The wiring diagrams here might help provided that pink wire is factory:

By the way, disconnect the battery before you start poking around under there.

Edit: According the wiring diagram in the above link, the only pink wire coming directly from the fuse block is for the power windows. It routes directly to the switches.

Yes, I think disconnecting the battery is a pretty ...

Sorry, I really don't know what the blue splice is good for.

The link is not working, but I have found the wiring diagram already - I tried it out and the windows are working with the cabel still disconnected.
