Since your car never came with a LT1 from the factory would be more relevant to mention what it originally was ; TBI /TPI .......

Is better to run the pump relay off a switch , not the pump directly.

tpi

Im about to order a fuel pressure regulator bypass/return style
1 port inlet, 1 port outlet and 1 port return
will this work for my setup?
I have a stock 91 trans am airtex fuel pump which puts out around 40 psi and i need to regulate it down to about 7 psi.
