Get a universal relay and replace it... That plug is too bad to save.

Clean them then temporarily use electrical tape. Straighten them out and cut 4 pieces of tape 1in. long. don't wrap them just lay the center of the tape lengthwise over the wire. Then just fold the tape over sticking both sides together. When you're done use the tape to keep them from touching as an extra precaution. Lay a piece of tape across the four wires .and push down.do the same thing on the other side. All 4 wires will be strate and separated.
Folding the tape over wires like that lets you work in tight places and is just easier and the tape does not unwrap like wrapping can. That procedure I just used on a fuel pump relay that looked like that and will last until I can fix it right.

yeah definitely think I'll need to get new ones although I did think to do that as a temporary fix just wasn't sure what caused that kind of damage it almost looks like it was pulled out of the connector so I thought maybe it's something I could be repinned

both relate up by the passenger side headlight are like this and I'm assuming that they are for the headlight motors ?

Re: best way to fix this plug/relay?

I had a what appears to be the same relay's socket fry from the previous owner and I just went to a junkyard and got the socket and relay with about six inches of wire and spliced it in. I haven't had any problems with it since. You just have to make sure that you use environmental splices so that the connections won't corrode. Also if they are both up by the pass headlight it should be for your cooling fans.

If you are going to splice in anything from a junkyard ,get a weatherpak connector and relay from a later model car .
Never have problems again

Yup, those are great. The newer bosch square relays are just as resilient and inexpensive, so you've got options
