So i recently entered a contest to win a custom set of headlights for 3rd gen trans ams. The winner will recieve whatever type they want, shipped to them for free. I realized i didnt know much about HID or projector style headlights, I want to win this contest and dont want to order the wrong thing. He told me his best kits are around $300. Ive seen Kits on Ebay for less than $100. I know you get what you pay for, but what is the difference between an expensive pair and a cheap pair?

here are some of the pics off his page.

Re: Need a crash coarse in Aftermarket headlights
the stuff you find on ebay are crap, they are fake projectors with just an h4 or generic sup par hid kit behind them. from what i can tell the guy makes some awesome quality lights with REAL projectors and REAL quality hids. i am seriously contemplating getting a set from him, just dont have facebook and a few odds and ends that need attention.

I can get his number from him if you are interested.

so what about the lights? i see they come in different frequencies. he also does LED angel eyes.

I want to go that route, but i want to be able to keep my headlights up while there on. but be able to drop them when i want.
