88 GTA, digital controls no blower function.

Looking on here is seems as though this ac setup is different from the normal system. The blower motor doesn't work at all. I did test the blower by sending power straight to it and it worked. I assume I can follow the same trouble shooting procedures found on here while searching. What are the common causes for this and do I need to do anything different for trouble shooting?

So I got my test light out and did alittle trouble shooting. Under the hood on the hvac box on the grey connector I have power to all the wires no matter what position the fan speed switch is in, except off. When in the off position I have no power to the connector. On the relay, as I toggle from low to high, once I get in the high position you can hear it click. I have power on the a and b terminal, nothing for c and d. I put a ground wire on the blower motor and that didn't fix it either. What and where are the next items to check. There where no blown fuses on the block on the drivers side of the dash.

There are 2 relays, hi & lo speed, not sure which one you are checking. Attached diagram for 88 digital cluster should help you find the break. I would probably start at the blower motor resistor, if you have 12v at the brown/white wire, suspect the resistor is bad.
