All in the seller's wording and how you interpret it.
NOS to me is a genuine in the GM packing product.

But many sellers state "NOS" because it is a exact repro or in some cases the exactly the same item from the same maker that supplied the OEM part to GM in the 1st place years ago; just without the original packaging

I know in the case of Vette repo parts ,the Vette specialists have gone to the original parts supplier and got them to use their original molds /dies etc to make runs of long discontinued parts which they then package and sell under their own label

Re: window switch nos gm?

The PWD is a repro, not NOS. NOS is old stock that has never been used. Whether original tooling was used or not, if it was made today it is either a replacement or a repro of the original. So he misrepresented the product and you should be entitled to a full refund. I have the PWD switches. While they looked nice, they did not work correctly. I wound up taking the top portion off and swapping them onto my original switches which worked fine but looked like crap.

the dealer sells both repros and nos switches.he claims he sent out the wrong switches and to send them back.hopefully he will send the gm switches then.
