Haunted headlight motors?

I just put in a new headlight switch, and it solved the problem of my dome light always being on. Thanks for the tips from the forum btw. Anyway, the switch works ok, but Im still having two problems. First, when I press the fog light button, the headlight doors open. The headlights do not come on unless I press the main switch, but the doors still open. It did this on the old switch too, and i was hoping the new switch would fix it. No dice. Second, the motors do open the doors, but they continue to spin the ***** for a few seconds after the doors are open. Then when I shut them they drop faster than they should and the ***** also keep spinning for a few seconds after the doors are shut. Is there an adjustment that I can make, or are my motors about to blow up? Seems to me something needs to be tightened?

Take a look at the reviews for my TDS 209280 deluxe headlight repair kit. Two customers wrote that the kit solved this issue for them.
