Alarm Short

I recently had to replace my battery. Doing so caused my alarm to go off. I dont have the clicker (guy i bought the car from didnt have it) so i cant turn it off. Im assuming its the alarm that chevy put in the car. Is there was to disable it? Also my VATs system is bypassed so i just need to figure how to turn the alarm off

Re: Alarm Short

The only thing you can do is get under the dash and find the brain for the alarm and remove the fuses for it or just unplug the brain. A lot of aftermarket alarms do this when unhooking the battery and hooking it back up.

Is there a red LED blinking anywhere? Unless it was a total hack job, you should have a valet switch located somewhere in the car as well.
