There is a ground wire from the harness near the hatch motor.
Make sure that’s OK.
If it is, put the lightswitch in the marker lights position.
There is a connector at the left rear of the car which you gain access to by opening the hatch.
Using a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) probe the brown wire on both sides of that connector.
If you have no power there, you have a break from that connector to the headlight
switch.

Right, it sounds like a short to ground after the column and radio.
You can disconnect the wire going to the rear of the car, where it travels under the left door threshold.
If the fuse stops blowing, you will know the short is in the back half on the line.
If the fuse still blows disconnect the connector mentioned in post #2.
If the fuse stops blowing, you will know the short is in the taillight assembly.
Could even be a shorted bulb however that is very rare.

Re: No Running Tail Lights
Had the same thing happen to me a while back. Ended up being a bad wire to the rear lights. I rewired it and all was good after that. Goodluck!
