door unlock causes problems

Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.73
door unlock causes problems
Everytime i press the unlock button in my 91 camaro, it doesnt unlock and all my gauges stop working and the infl starts to blink for 5 seconds. Where would i start to figure this out? The lock buttons work fine

Unlock the Answer
It sounds like there is a short in that line.
Disconnect it, one at a time at the lock motors.
If the dash problem goes away you will know that one of the motors is shorted.
If the dash problem does not go away most likely you have a short to ground in one of the wires going to the lock motors.
Then you can trace that wire while looking for insulation rub-thru, a screw poking it, etc.

Even Tho I Might Destroy The Car During The Race, At Least It Looks Gorgeous At The Start
