Air bag control module

Does anyone know where the air bag control module is located in a 3rd gen bird?

Windbag

The Module, one of many components, is located behind the right side of the instrument panel.

It has a connector plugged into the left side.

Happy Racing !

Re: Windbag

I got the steering wheel swapped. Wondering if I pull the control module, will that turn off the inflation light on the dash?

My guess is yes, but not sure. I have a 91 Camaro and swapping out the airbag steering wheel is on my "to do" list. Your swap/change of wheel looks great, what companies wheel did you use, are you happy you did it, and does the colum/ wheel interface look "finished/correct" ? I've read that air bags are only good for a max of @ 20 years. Thanks,
Roy

I went with a Grant 1067 Formula 1. Love it and very glad I changed wheels. That air bag wheel was SO ugly. Install looks very clean. Here are a couple pics....
