odd head light issue
odd head light issue
only half of my head lights are working. The 2 outer lights work fine in both low and high beams. The 2 inner head lights do not work in either low or high beam. All the fuzes are good. Is there a relay or something to check? Anybody else have this issue?

Head In The Right Direction
You failed to provide the model and year of the car so this info will be slightly generic.
There are no relays in headlight circuits.
The inner lamps are not supposed to illuminate in the Lo-Beam position.
The inner lamps are part of the Hi-Beam mode.
To find out if they’re getting power, use a voltmeter or small bulb across one of the sockets while a friend toggles the Hi-Beam switch.
If you see power then replace those lamps.
If you do not see power trace the light green wire from the hi-beam socket back thru the harness till you find the point where you have power, the remake that connection.
