WTH is this?

Recently acquired a 92 RS, 5.0 as a Project Car. Started working under the hood, cleaning things up and came across this, just sitting on the wheel well. It wasn't plugged into anything, nor attached. Just sitting there.

Any clues, as to what the hell it is?

Looks like an old throttle position sensor.

Thanks Guys... Now, to figure out why the hell it was just sitting there, not connected! Hell, I drove the car home when I picked it up. LOL...

Maybe the PO replaced it and forgot to throw it away and just sat it there. Look on your TB and see if you have one installed; I'm sure you do............
